Budgam, July 18: A man lost his life after a tractor overturned in the Batapora area of Wathora in Chadoora tehsil of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Hanjigund.
Officials said the tractor overturned while it was moving through the area, leaving Ganie critically injured. He was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances that led to the accident. [KNT]
