Drug-linked encroachments razed

Srinagar, June 20: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, J&K Police in Pulwama continued its sustained action against the drug menace by targeting illegal assets and encroachments linked to drug peddlers.

In a coordinated operation conducted by Police Station Kakapora along with the Executive Magistrate and local revenue officials, two illegally encroached properties on State land were removed in the areas of Qazigund and Kisrigam falling within the jurisdiction of Police Station Kakapora. The action forms part of J&K Police’s broader strategy to curb narcotics-related activities by dismantling the unlawful infrastructure and support systems associated with drug trafficking.

Police remains steadfast in its commitment to combating the drug menace through stringent enforcement measures and urges the public to continue supporting anti-drug initiatives by sharing information regarding narcotics-related activities.
