Ensuring hygiene

In order to ensure that the move employees stationed at hotels in Srinagar receive food and service of high quality, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has created a special monitoring committee.

This progressive initiative ensures that transition during the two times of year will provide a clean and comfortable living environment for officials, reflecting the government’s ongoing dedication to the dignity and well-being of employees.

Under direction from the General Administration Department, officials from the Legal Metrology, Food, Civil Supplies, and Estates departments have been assigned as part of a regular programme of oversight and monitoring. This represents a positive shift in government accountability and procedure.

Typically, employees have found the two-time relocation process/period to result in logistical difficulties that culminate in unacceptable services.

With the implementation of this proactive measure will create a structure for responsibility, and provide a defined process for rectification.

To create a new standard for public hospitality in Jammu and Kashmir, the administration is providing this structure through mandatory inspections of hotel kitchens and catering services.

As a result, food business operators (FBOs) will be required to meet food hygiene requirements and provide food with no artificial colourings or hazardous products.

This creates a healthier workforce and will provide additional morale to the employees of the government. When the administration takes care of the employees’ daily needs, it results in a higher level of efficiency by the administration and therefore will result in an overall increase in service to the public.

This effort indicates a very responsive form of governing regarding the people who live in Jammu & Kashmir.

It also shows that the government appreciates its workers, as they are trying to create a comfortable setting for them every day.

Creating a safe and healthy place for move employees to operate will provide a foundation for a more effective and efficient workforce, which will improve service to the public.
