Srinagar, May 15: Two motorcyclists were killed in separate road accidents in Kulgam and Budgam districts of Kashmir on Friday, officials said.
In Kulgam, a biker died after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a roadside barricade near the Migrant Colony area of Vessu. The rider died on the spot, while his identity was yet to be ascertained.
In another incident in Budgam’s Beerwah area, Haris Majeed of Gondipora was killed after his motorcycle reportedly went out of control near Hayatpora Main Link. He was shifted to SDH Beerwah, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have registered cases and started investigations into both accidents. [KNT]
