Budgam: A carpenter was critically injured after falling from a rooftop in Watakul Lolipora area of Budgam district on Monday, officials said.
The injured has been identified as Abdul Rasheed Najar, son of Mohammad Shaban Najar, aged 45, a resident of Watakul Lolipora Budgam. According to officials, he fell from a rooftop while at work, sustaining a serious head injury.
He was initially taken to CHC Waterhal for treatment and was later referred to JVC Hospital Bemina in view of his critical condition.
Hospital sources said the injured man is undergoing treatment and his condition remains critical. Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (CNS)
