Ganderbal, October 1: In a landmark initiative under the nationwide “Sewa Parv” campaign, the Revenue Department Ganderbal conducted Mega Mutation Camps, grievance redressal, and public service delivery events across the district, aimed at bringing governance and land-related services closer to the general public.
The massive outreach was held across 13 identified locations with more than 3500 participants, where designated Attestation Officers (Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars) provided on-spot services.
During these camps, over 550 Mutations were attested in a single day, besides various grievances related to land, demarcation, and documentation were redressed on the spot.
Further, more than 100 certificates/services such as RBA, SC/ST, Domicile, and Income certificates were issued at Patwar Halqa level to ensure doorstep governance.
The camps witnessed huge public participation, and services were delivered efficiently, showcasing a vibrant example of responsive governance.
On the occasion, ACR Ganderbal personally attended and supervised interacting with the public, addressing local concerns, and sensitizing people through the awareness campaign about their land rights, digital services, and the importance of timely land record updation.
He emphasized the importance of people-centric revenue governance and assured continued efforts in streamlining services through such public outreach programs.
