Rajouri, Sept 16: A woman lost her life while six others sustained injuries in a road accident in Rakiban Darhal Malikan area of Rajouri district on Tuesday.
Officials said the accident took place when a Tata Magic vehicle bearing registration number JK11H-0487 skidded off the road along the Darhal stretch
In the mishap, one woman identified as Nazira Begum, wife of Muneer Mohammad Budkhanari, died on the spot. Six other passengers suffered injuries and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been initiated.
