BANDIPORA, AUGUST 23: In order to foster startup ideation and entrepreneurial spirit among the students, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) conducted a boot camp under the J&K Startup Idea Challenge at Government Degree College (GDC) Sumbal, Bandipora on Saturday.
The boot camp was conducted by a three-member team from JKEDI, and witnessed the participation of around 100 students, showcasing their enthusiasm for exploring entrepreneurship as a viable career choice.
Out of these students, 20 participants pitched their startup ideas before the panel of designated experts from the college, executives of the J&K Bank, officials from District Industries Centre (DIC) and District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), Bandipora and officers/officials of JKEDI. The panel appreciated their creativity and provided constructive feedback.
