Srinagar, July 23: Kavinder Gupta, the newly appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.
The President’s office confirmed the meeting, marking Gupta’s formal engagement with the country’s highest constitutional authority following his appointment.
It also shared a picture of the meeting in a post on X. “Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri Kavinder Gupta called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,” the President’s Office said.
Gupta took oath as the LG of the Union Territory of Ladakh on July 18.
