Srinagar, Jul 09: A grand national-level exhibition titled “Bharat Sanrachna Jammu & Kashmir 2025” is all set to begin at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar from July 12, with free entry for all visitors.

The event is being organised by Tarmeh Events under the guidance of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Ghulam Ali Khatana.

Speaking at a pre-event press conference at SKICC, Khatana said a three-day exhibition is to be organised to showcase the major developmental milestones of the country and highlight the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’, India’s journey towards 100 years of independence.

He said more than 60 national institutions, including top government agencies like DRDO, ISRO, ICMR, CSIR, ICAR, NHPC, and the Geological Survey of India, will participate.

“The exhibition will feature live demonstrations, interactive pavilions, cultural stalls, workshops, and youth zones to engage students, farmers, entrepreneurs, and the general public,” he said.

The MP said the aim is to empower youth and common citizens by connecting them with innovations, services, and the government’s flagship welfare schemes.

He added that the key focus areas of the exhibition include science and technology, healthcare, space, defence, agriculture, handicrafts, tourism, digital innovation, water management, and entrepreneurship.

“The exhibition will also include skill-building sessions, expert talks, and stalls showcasing local crafts and success stories from Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, further mentioning that special zones for career guidance and student interaction are part of the outreach effort.

Meanwhile, organisers said hosting this national exhibition in Kashmir is a step towards inclusion and peacebuilding by directly engaging local communities with the national growth story. Moreover, the exhibition will remain open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on all three days, with free entry for everyone. (KNO)
