LG releases “Shiva Tatva Amarnath”

Adv Salman among others call on Sinha

Srinagar, Jul 02: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Wednesday released a book titled “Shiva Tatva Amarnath”, published by Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust.
The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the authors Mahant Rohit Shastri, Rohit Jandiyal and all the members of the Trust for offering a unique presentation of faith, devotion to Lord Amarnath, and Vedic traditions, through the book.
The book elaborates on Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, the dialogue between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, the legend of the formation of the holy ice Lingam (Himling), sacred places along the pilgrimage route, saint traditions, folk culture, pilgrimage management, administrative contributions, environmental aspects, and the broad philosophical concept of Shiva Tatva.
Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor and CEO Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board; Mahant Rohit Shastri, President, Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust and members of the trust including R.K. Chhibber, Rohit Jandiyal, Vinay Jamwal, Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Nigam Gupta and Sunil Sharma were present.
Meanwhile, Advocate Sheikh Salman, BJP District President Srinagar called on Lieutenant Governor.
A delegation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu led by its President Arun Gupta called on Lieutenant Governor.
The delegation comprised of Anil Gupta senior Vice President and other officer bearers of the Chamber including Rajeev Gupta, Manish Gupta and Rajesh Gupta apprised the Lieutenant Governor of various important matters pertaining to the on-going Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and the welfare issues of the business & trade fraternity.
Subsequently, representatives of Ghatti Industrial Association, Kathua also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
