Collaboration for academic excellence

Prof. Nilofer Khan, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir has met with Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha recently and we must see that again, as another step in the university’s innovative journey through academia.

Prof. Khan thanked the Lt. Governor on behalf of the university for backing the university unconditionally by saying that it was this kind of leadership and institutional partnership that would push higher-education initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir.

Under the leadership of Prof. Khan, the University of Kashmir has made incredible strides to date; primarily being the A++ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a CGPA of 3.68.

This is indicative of how we see ourselves in delivering quality education and research, and is also an example of how administrative support to an educational institution can help its growth.

On this road travelled toward success, Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has been an incredibly active player with respect to infrastructure, developing research fields, and reforming academic processes.

This mainstream support has gone miles in creating the space to facilitate educational institutions in a larger initiative of the notion of creating Jammu and Kashmir as a Knowledge and Innovation hub.

Under the profound leadership of Prof Khan, alongside the steadfast support of the Lt. Governor, a strong precedent is being set on how higher education institutions can work alongside governance to seek to improve standards of education.

The achievements of the University of Kashmir has set a very strong benchmark for others to follow on how working together, wills in place, and, of course, policies are moving the University even further.

While the university is climbing a new peak, this partnership incentivizes the student, researcher community, and broader educational ecosystem of the region for an even brighter future.

The people of Jammu and Kashmir can feel proud about this achievement which indicates how education can transform a considerable society into a thriving and enlightened society.

Here’s to many more meaningful collaborations that lead to excellence, spread innovation and seed the grounds for inclusive growth in higher education.
