Srinagar, Apr 22: The tourism trade, along with other related trade bodies, strongly condemned the cowardly terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam.
This senseless act of violence is unacceptable and has caused undue distress to innocent visitors, reads a statement issued here.
“We urge our members to communicate positively with their agents and clients, reassuring them that Jammu and Kashmir remains a welcoming destination for visitors worldwide. Despite this challenge, we will continue showcasing our region’s beauty and resilience,” the statement reads.
“Let’s stand united in condemning this attack and supporting our tourism industry, vital to our economy. Together, we’ll overcome this adversity and ensure Jammu and Kashmir remains a beacon of hospitality and peace,” it added.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the bereaved and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured. We stand with them in these difficult times,’ the statement added.
