MLA Nagrota Devender Rana dies

Srinagar: Senior BJP leader and sitting MLA from the Nagrota Assembly constituency, Devender Singh Rana, has passed away in Delhi.
Rana, the brother of Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, breathed his last at Faridabad hospital after a prolonged illness on the evening of his passing.
A prominent businessman, Rana was also the founder of JamKash Vehicleads. He recently won the Nagrota assembly seat by the highest margin ever and was expected to become the Legislative Party leader within a few days.
Meanwhile, several political leaders have expressed their grief over his demise and solidarity with his family.
“Shocked to hear about the sudden demise of Devinder Rana ji. Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones,” wrote PDP President Mehbooba on ‘X’.
JKPCC President and MLA Tariq Hameed Karra also expressed his grief over Rana’s passing. In a statement, he said, “I am deeply saddened by the demise of MLA Shri Devinder Rana ji. Heartfelt condolences to Rana’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with them at this time of grief. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
