JIM&WS achieves double summit

Srinagar: The Jammu Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports (JIM&WS) successfully summitted Mt 5150 and Mt 5130 in a single expedition in the Machoi Ranges of the Himalayas.
The expedition, led by Colonel Hemchandra Singh, Principal of JIM&WS, showcased remarkable achievement and coordination. The team, consisting of seven climbers, reached the summit of both peaks, while an additional 34 climbers scaled Pt 5130.
This successful endeavor adds to JIM&WS’s impressive record, with nine peaks scaled during the current climbing season. The peaks are situated in the region of Zozila Pass, known for its challenging terrain and breathtaking views.
