Srinagar: Life School on Wednesday hosted the inaugural event of “The Bharat Scouts and Guides” at its main campus in Zaloosa Budgam.
The event marked the beginning of an exciting journey for students as they embarked on character building, teamwork, and social responsibility through this prestigious youth organization.
Cluster Secretary of The Bharat Scouts and Guides Budgam chapter, Nazir Ahmad Mir, was the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted the pivotal role The Bharat Scouts and Guides traditionally plays in shaping the future of the nation by instilling core values in young people.
He commended Life School for integrating scouting and guiding into the educational curriculum.
Director of Life School, Nazrul Islam, emphasized the significance of The Bharat Scouts and Guides in providing holistic education and essential skills.
He expressed hope that Life School students would evolve into active and responsible citizens in service to society and the nation.
During the event, scarves, caps, and badges were distributed among the students, and the upcoming activities of The Bharat Scouts and Guides were displayed and explained.
The session concluded with Principal Dr. Gulafrose thanking all stakeholders for the successful launch of The Bharat Scouts and Guides program at the school.
She encouraged students to actively participate in all upcoming events and take advantage of the opportunities provided by the organization.
