Patriotic song ‘Bharat He Hai Mera Watan’ released

Srinagar: On the eve of Independence Day, the patriotic song “Bharat He Hai Mera Watan,” with lyrics by Kanwal Peshin and music composed by Ravi Bhan, was released today.

The song, recreated and recorded by Rajesh Khar Kong Posh, features direction and editing by Abhimanyu Peshin and is produced by the Athrot Cultural Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting language and culture.

Dr. Arvind Karwani, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M), J&K, was honored by the Athrot Cultural Foundation for his exemplary management of this year’s Tulmull Yatra. A Pratima of Mata Kheerbhawani was presented to Dr. Karwani along with Dr. Rohit Koul and Muktesh Yogi, emerging young icons of the society.

During the song release event, Dr. Karwani praised the Athrot Cultural Foundation for its relentless efforts to preserve culture and language in exile and commended Kanwal Peshin for the heartfelt composition.

The song pays tribute to martyrs who fought for India’s independence, celebrates farmers and security personnel, and highlights communal harmony.

The song, showcased with a brilliant video presentation under the direction of Abhimanyu Peshin, was released on the Athrot Productions YouTube Channel and The Modern Kashmiri Pandits Facebook page. Dr. Karwani viewed it live at the Canal Head office.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Abhimanyu Peshin, Director of the Athrot Cultural Foundation.
