Education is alright…..
It’s an intellectual advancement.
And obtaining a job isn’t assured anywhere.
Why can’t a fully educated person sell apples…or vegetables on a roadside kiosk or in a load carrier placed on a corner?
In advanced countries people follow their own sweet will……they can suddenly excell in plumbing or in any other sphere where their skill leads to them.
PHD or Master’s doesn’t mean a locked carrer.
Therefore pursue education and even compete for IAS….Give yourself a chance as far as parents can afford….
Later on don’t shy to jump any bandwagon.
A simple cart owner earns enough to enjoy his life. He doesn’t crave for greener pastures comparing himself to a PHD.
It boils down to earning bread & butter.
Take a simple job or jump into a simple vocation.
Take less stress and continue with life….
Body and soul should move and die for the rest unachievables…
Education is important and not necessarily a government job.
If a brilliant student or super qualified person selects a profession seemingly unsuitable…..He/She can rock.
In today’s world….in Kashmir too….Unemployed doctors have chosen real estate sector as their profession.
You can make the traditional tradesman sweat.
Educated minds mean no barriers.
We can be best masons even….or brilliant electricians.
If a PHD joins ITI post PHD he will hit the jackpot. As professional talent and a great human resource is created.
Immediately one can set up a unit and earn.
Ironically we obtain degrees to obtain market value….
But alas the market value lies in the petty skill sets.
Anybody who can sell merchandise in a street corner is more suitable in today’s world. And if he is a PHD….he will be more enlightened and will outclass others.
Don’t cocoon yourself in the qualifications…..
Come out of comfort zones.
Do petty jobs and enjoy your stay here…
Life is short.
