Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has assigned the additional charge of SIU Kashmir to DIG Armed Kashmir Shahid Mehraj.
According to an order, a copy of which lies with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the home department stated that Shahid Mehraj, DIG Armed Kashmir, shall also look after the post of SIU Kashmir.
“In the interest of administration, it is hereby ordered that Shahid Mehraj Rather, IPS, DIG Armed Kashmir, shall also look after the assignment of SIU Kashmir, in addition to his own duties,” reads the order.
