Vitasta School of Law hosts seminar on ‘International Day Against Drug Abuse’, illicit trafficking

Srinagar: In a collaborative effort to raise awareness about the pressing issues of drug abuse and illicit trafficking, Vitasta School of Law and Humanities, in partnership with Helping Hands and IMHANS (GMC), organized a significant seminar on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The seminar featured a distinguished panel of guest speakers, including Qazi Imran Sheikh, RJ Vijdhan, Sheikh Imran, and Azra Mufti. These experts shared their insights and experiences, providing invaluable knowledge to the attendees on the dangers and societal impact of drug abuse and the critical need to combat illicit trafficking.

Throughout the seminar, students engaged in discussions and activities designed to deepen their understanding of these crucial issues. The speakers emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and community involvement in tackling the challenges posed by drug abuse and trafficking.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates by the Vice Principal, Rakib Ahmad Zia, who also delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.
In his address, Zia expressed gratitude to the guest speakers, the organizing partners, and the participants for their active involvement and commitment to making a difference in the fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
