Green camps workshop held at Govt BHSS Manigam

Srinagar:  A successful Green Camps workshop was conducted at BHSS Manigam under the supervision of CEO Ganderbal Surjeet Kumar Sharma, organized by the Green Camps program in collaboration with the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK).
The workshop witnessed active participation from 15 selected schools, including their Heads of Institutions (HOIs) and designated green teachers and HQ. Assistant Rafeeq Ahmad.

Advocate Nadeem Qadri, Advisor to the Green Camps program, provided an insightful briefing on the objectives and significance of the program. He emphasized the role of educational institutions in fostering environmental awareness and sustainability among students.

Aadil Bhat program Manager Green camps presented an engaging and informative presentation on environmental changes, highlighting the urgent need for action at the school level. His presentation underscored practical steps that schools can take to mitigate environmental challenges.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by the District Cultural Coordinator of Ganderbal and the Principal of the host institution, setting a collaborative and enthusiastic tone for the workshop.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks from the Principal of BHSS Wakura Mr. Abdul Majeed Rangraz, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for their dedication to promoting environmental education.

This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards integrating environmental consciousness into the educational framework of the region.
