Fire Service Week 2024 culminates

School children participate in drawing competition at Fire Headquarters Batamaloo

Srinagar: The conclusion of Fire Service Week 2024 culminated in a vibrant display of creativity and commitment to fire safety as a drawing competition took center stage at the Fire Headquarters Batamaloo.
Under the guidance of Director Fire and Emergency Services, Alok Kumar, ADGP IPS, the event was organized in collaboration with the School Education Department.
School children from across the region enthusiastically participated, showcasing their artistic prowess while imparting crucial messages regarding fire safety through their captivating artwork. The competition served as a platform to engage and educate the youth on the importance of fire safety measures in our communities.
Following the competition, an award ceremony was held to recognize the exemplary performers. The best performers were honored with suitable cash prizes and certificates, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to raising awareness about fire safety.
The event was held in presence of officers including Assistant Director Srinagar, Aqib Hussain Mir, Medical Officer Abrar Bashir, Foreman RWS Rattan Lal, and others.
