CO IRP 11thBattalion holds Darbar for Jawans

Anantnag: Sandeep Mehta, SSP and Commanding Officer of IRP 11TH Battalion, conducted a grievance redressal camp for the Jawans of the A/F Coys at the company headquarters near Police Station Anantnag on Thursday.

Addressing the genuine grievances voiced by the personnel, he directed the concerned officers to prioritize and address their issues. During the discussion, the commandant emphasized to the participating officials and officers the importance of working with zeal and dedication to achieve the common goal of J&K police, which is the maintenance of law & order and the creation of a peaceful atmosphere for the common masses.

He mentioned that measures are being taken for the overall welfare of the jawans and officers. The chairing officer reiterated that all grievances would be duly looked into, and necessary steps would be taken for their timely redressal.

Later in the day, to meet the emergent expenses of officers/officials and as a welfare measure, CO IRP XI Bn Anantnag chaired the Battalion Welfare Committee meeting and sanctioned a Rs 5.00 lakh welfare loan in favor of the personnel of the Battalion.

Out of the total 20 applications, welfare loans were sanctioned in favor of 12 eligible personnel. A loan of Rs. 40,000 each was sanctioned in favor of 07 personnel for the treatment of themselves/dependents, while a loan of Rs. 40,000 each was sanctioned in favor of 02 personnel to meet the expenses for higher education of their wards. Rs. 40,000 was also sanctioned in favor of 01 person for the marriage of his son.

In addition to the above, an amount of Rs. 50,000 each was sanctioned in favor of two Class-IV employees for the marriage/treatment of their dependents.
