Srinagar, Oct 1: Army and locals on Sunday organized a cleanliness drive in Fakir Gujri area under the aegis of ‘Swachta Hi Seva’.
The students as well as the volunteers also participated in the cleanliness drive.
Sarpanch of the area, Shameema also joined the campaign and many more people joined the cause to clean the adjacent areas.
“People hailed the Army and volunteers in organising drive. The participants were made aware of the importance of the cleanliness, thus the surroundings besides our residential houses must be clean for sustainability of life, we must be very resistant for polluting surroundings,” said Shameema.
