Srinagar: As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and organizing different programmes for celebrating the 77th Independence Day, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Director Fire & Emergency Services, J&K, Alok Kumar carried forward the programme under “Merl Maati Meera Desh” by planting a sapling in the premises of Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Headquarters, Batamaloo, Srinagar.
Soon after planting the sapling, a Tiranga Yatra was also held under the leader ship of Alok Kumar (ADGP), Director Fire & Emergency Services, J&K in which among other officers, officials, Dy. Director, F&ES Command Srinagar, Assistant Director, F&ES, Command Budgam, Medical Officer, and Administrative Officer also participated with great enthusiasm.
On the occasion, all the Command Officers were directed to carry out the activities, programmes of planting saplings in all their respective Command Office and F&E Station premises throughout the Union Territory.
