Srinagar: Civil Defence Srinagar has been providing volunteer assistance in the ongoing Amaranth pilgrimage in the Valley while the Chief Warden Umar K Nidou Saturday termed the assistance as proud moment for him.
Civil Defence is performing various services for the general public particularly for Amarnath Ji pilgrims since 28th of June 2023 in different areas of Srinagar under the supervision of Rahi Riyaz Ahmed Divisional Warden Civil Defence Srinagar, a statement issued here reads.
To provide assistance to traffic management of Kashmir, first aid facilities. This morning Chief Warden Civil Defence Srinagar Umar K Nidou inspected various areas of Srinagar including Parampora, Shalteng Crossing and Bamina.
While talking to various people as well as Amarnath pilgrims, he said that “I am proud that a large number of volunteers of Civil Defence are rendering their services. People, especially Amarnath pilgrims liked and appreciated the gesture.”
