Srinagar: Authorities on Monday said that Paracetamol infusion is available in inventory of DH Bandipora in a reasonable stock, but said that it is being issued to patients admitted under BPL and AB PMJAY quota.
“Paracetamol infusion is available in inventory of DH Bandipora in a reasonable stock but it is issued to patients admitted under BPL and AB PMJAY quota as the hospital cannot afford to issue the drug to every patient,” a statement issued by Medical Superintendant of DH Bandipora said.
He said that the complainant has neither provided the relevant documents nor contacted hospital administration who could have provided the drug to patient but instead chose to go to social media to malign the image of a Govt facility. “Needless to mention that Ph No. of Hospital administrators is displayed on counters. This speaks of malafide intention of complainant,” he said.
