Srinagar: Senior BJP leader and party’s J&K spokesman, Altaf Thakur Wednesday said that PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti wants to protect big fishes by opposing the government’s anti-encroachment drive.
In a statement issued here, Thakur said that Mehbooba Mufti is feeling the heat of ongoing eviction drive against those, who grabbed state land by misusing their powers.
“By opposing the drive, she perhaps wants to protect the big fish most probably her former colleagues and those who were hand-in-glove with her,” he said.
Advocating vacating of land under army at BB Cantt, her incompetence has come to fore once again as she is behaving like an ignorant as all land under State forces were transferred to Indian army in J&K, he added. “Mehbooba’s anti-national approach is once again on display,” he added.
