Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and J&K spokesman, Altaf Thakur on Wednesday said that PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti is missing hartal politics and termed Bharat Jodo Yatra as Maafi Maango Yatra.
In a statement, Thakur said, “PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti is indeed missing the hartal politics as she can’t tolerate the opening of shops and the unfurling of Tiranga everywhere in Kashmir on Republic Day eve,” he said.
“For her info, shopkeepers are feeling happy to keep their shops on R-Day as hartal politics stands burried several feeta below the earth. Time to celebrate the total integration of JK with the Union of India,” he said.
Taking a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Thakur said, “With no remorse and no shame, how can Rahul Gandhi face Valmikis and Gorkhas in Jammu, who were abandoned for over seven decades in a most disrespectful condition. Fact remains, it is actually Maafi Mangou Yatra not Bharat Jodo. Hope Rahul apologises to these ill fated people.”
