Div Com Pole seeks explanation from Naib Tehsildar, Junior Assistant for alleged misconduct
Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K. Pole has sought a time bound explanation from the Naib Tehsildar Sanat Nagar Umar Manzoor and Shabir Ahmed Bhat Junior Assistant at Tehsil office Channapora for alleged misconduct and using unparliamentary language against an applicant who had approached the tehsil office to seek revenue services.
In an order in possession of Precious Kashmir dated: 01-02-2022 No: Div.Com/Misc/2021/3636/39 the Divisional Commissioner states that despite the applicant having completed all the formalities with his application, his case was not processed in time and instead reportedly unparliamentary language was used against him.
“Besides his case has not been processed despite lapse of considerable time” the order further reads.
The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir while providing them an opportunity of being heard warns of disciplinary action as warranted under service conduct rules.
“Before any disciplinary action as warranted under Service Conduct Rules is initiated against you. You are given one opportunity of being heard in person on 5th Feb 2022 along-with your reply in defence, failing which action warranted under rules shall follow without any further reminder” the order reads.
It is in place to mention here that some videos went viral on social media where people from south city were seen complaining about “absenteeism and corruption” being order of the day at Tehsil office Channapora.
