Srinagar: In its sustained efforts to reach out to the civil population and to instill a sense of patriotism among the youth, Army on Thursday organised the display of military weapons and equipment along with career counseling stalls.
Showcasing various opportunities in civil arena and stalls for youth, the event at High grounds, Anantnag has focused on encouraging them to join Indian Armed forces.
The event was attended by a large number of students from various schools. Students and youth were excited to see the variety of military weapons and equipment.
The mannequin donning the New Digital Pattern Combat Dress stole the attention of the students. The display is sure to instill a sense of pride and patriotism in the hearts and minds of local populace.
More than 300 students, youth and locals participated in the event. Students appreciated the effort of army for providing exposure about the latest technologies of weapons and for making the bond stronger between Awam and the locals.
The entire event was conducted as per existing protocols of COVID-19 issued by the administration. The students and youth were grouped in batches of 25 persons to witness the event.
