Handwara, Sep 22: Jui-e-Adab Kaj Nag, Handwara, under the patronage of Adabi Markaz Kamraz, Jammu and Kashmir, organised a two-day online Naat Mushaira on September 20 and 21, bringing together poets from across the region to present their Naatiya poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Mushaira was held in two sessions, both beginning at 7:30 pm. The first session on September 20 was presided over by Dr Abdul Wahid Raza, with Javed Iqbal Mawari, Advisor of Jui-e-Adab Kaj Nag and Vice President of Adabi Markaz Kamraz, Jafar Gulzar and Syed Mumtaz Bukhari also present on the presidential panel.
The proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Muhammad Shafi Malla, followed by a Naat presented by Javed Iqbal Mawari. The session was conducted by Arshid Mohiuddin, General Secretary of Jui-e-Adab Kaj Nag.
Ashiq Hussain Zahid, Shabnam Katlari, Altaf Zargar, Syed Javed Masroor, Bashir Tahir Lolabi, Inayatullah Rahi, Dr Yasmeen Mahmal, Javed Ahmad Javed, Abdul Kabir Dilkash, Manzoor Khan Kausar and Mashroo Nasibabadi presented their Naatiya poetry during the session.
The second session was held on September 21 under the same presidential panel. Mushtaq Mawari, Syed Muhammad Qasim Safavi, Maqbool Masoom, Nasir Masroor, Zakir Hussain Dilnawaz, Mir Mushtaq Qaziabadi, Abdul Rashid Dilshad, Faiq Maqbool, Javed Iqbal Mawari and Jafar Gulzar participated in the session.
At the conclusion, Dr Abdul Wahid Raza also presented his Naatiya poetry and delivered the presidential address.
Syed Javed Masroor, Vice President of Jui-e-Adab Kaj Nag, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the guests, poets and participants for their contributions.
The Mushaira was supervised by Maqbool Faiq, President of Jui-e-Adab Kaj Nag, while Kausar Manzoor managed the technical arrangements.
The two-day literary event concluded in an atmosphere of devotion, literary expression and spiritual reflection.
