Shopian, Sept 09: Three women were injured after being attacked by a wild bear in the Batfujan area of Keller in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official said that the women were attacked by the wild animal while they were in the Batfujan area of Keller in Shopian.
He said the injured were immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment and identified them as Maroofa Akhter, Firdoosa Akhter and Nusrat Gulzar, all residents of Batfujan. Their condition is stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the incident has been taken up. (KNO)
