POONCH, SEPTEMBER 6: At least eight people were injured after a Tata Sumo rolled down on the Bedar-Dunogam link road in Mandi area of Poonch district on Sunday, officials said.
The accident occurred at Bedar when the Tata Sumo, bearing registration number JK12-6675, met with an accident and rolled down the road.
The injured were identified as Mohammad Arif, 17, Sharaz Ahmed, 15, Naseer Ahmed, 16, Mumtaz Ahmed, 20, Habib Dar, 70, Zahid Ahmed, 18, Mohammad Shafi, 22, and Iqlak Ahmed, 18.
Most of the injured are residents of Dunogam, while Zahid Ahmed is a resident of Rajouri.
All eight injured persons were shifted to SDH Mandi for treatment.
