Athar says public participation makes campaign grand success
BUDGAM, AUGUST 10: The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is gaining momentum across Budgam, with enthusiastic participation from the district administration and the public in various activities, rallies and events being organised as part of the national campaign.
Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan, who presided over the mega Har Ghar Tiranga event at District Headquarter described it as an important national level initiative, in which people of the district are participating wholeheartedly and collectively making it a grand success across Budgam.
“This campaign provides an opportunity for citizens to express their pride in the national flag and reaffirm their spirit of patriotism and unity,” the Deputy Commissioner said.
He said that along with the public participation, entire district administration is actively participating in the campaign, with officers and field functionaries joining rallies and organising various related activities across the district.
He said that the campaign will go on in full swing till culmination and urged participation of all sections of society, particularly youth, students and community members in the activities being organised at different locations.
“The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is an important national initiative, and with the enthusiastic participation of the people and coordinated efforts of the administration, we can make it a grand success in Budgam,” the DC said.
He instructed officers and officials to ensure effective mobilisation at the grassroots level and encourage maximum participation in the campaign while maintaining the dignity and honour of the National Flag.
The event was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Vivek Agarwal, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Block Development Officers, Executive Officers of Urban Local Bodies and other senior officers and officials.
