Students from Jammu meet Sinha

SRINAGAR, JULY 31: Siddharth Kak, film-maker and television presenter called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Friday and discussed various important matters pertaining to protection and promotion of Heritage sites of the Union Territory.

Kak also presented his book titled “A Fire over Mount Everest” to the Lieutenant Governor.

Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition (LoP) in J&K Legislative Assembly, called on Lieutenant Governor. He was accompanied by Satish Sharma, Member of Legislative Assembly from Billawar.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor also met the students of The Asian School Jammu, at Lok Bhavan.

Interacting with the young students, the Lieutenant Governor commended their enthusiasm and dedication, and conveyed his best wishes for their academic and future endeavours.

The visit was a part of the school’s curriculum-based educational outreach programme aimed at exposing young minds to governance institutions and instilling core civic values.

The students were accompanied by Ankush Mahajan, Chairman and Atul M. Saxena, Principal of the school.
