LG, CM condole demise
Jammu: Ramprasad Kabra, father of Additional Chief Secretary, Jal Shakti Department and Financial Commissioner (Revenue), Shaleen Kabra, passed away on July 20, prompting condolences from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and several officials.
According to family sources, the last rites and cremation will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Jogi Gate in Jammu.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed grief over the bereavement in a post on X, saying, “My deepest condolences to Shri Shaleen Kabra, Additional Chief Secretary, on the sad demise of his father Shri Ramprasad Kabra. I pray to the Almighty to grant strength to the bereaved family members to bear this loss. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.”
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also condoled the demise, expressing profound grief over the passing away of Ramprasad Kabra.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to Shaleen Kabra and the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength and fortitude to the family to bear the irreparable loss.
Several colleagues, officials and well-wishers also expressed grief over the demise and extended their condolences to the bereaved family.
