Srinagar, May 9: A meeting of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was convened at Chattabal under the leadership of PDP Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigroo along with former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh.
The meeting was attended by District Coordinator Dr. Ali Mohammad, Ward President Hajra Ji, Sheikh Sabah, Mohammad Sultan, Shakeel Ahmad, Faheem Bhat, Zubair Ahmad, Sheikh Nauman, Faheem Bhat and other party workers and activists.
During the meeting, PDP leaders deliberated on several public and organisational issues concerning Chattabal and adjoining areas. The leaders stressed the need for strengthening the party at the grassroots level and highlighted various public grievances requiring immediate attention.
The forthcoming Srinagar District Convention scheduled to be held on 17 May was also discussed in detail. Party leaders urged workers to ensure maximum participation and intensify public outreach programmes ahead of the convention.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders reiterated PDP’s commitment towards addressing people’s issues and ensuring better coordination among party workers at the ward and constituency level. The participants also discussed future organisational programmes and public outreach activities in the Habba Kadal constituency.
