Easing ways

Previously, the distance between different places in Jammu & Kashmir was based on how many hours an individual would take to make their way from one place to another.

The PM Gram Sadak Yojana program has been announced to build 316 rural roadways over a distance of 1,781 kilometers using the Phase-IV funds of this program.

This is not just a numerical quantity, but rather the fulfilment of a promise.

This also reflects the completed work created by surveyors in the valleys that were not previously reachable by road, but only by foot.

The importance of this development is it provides an equitable base for furthering the equitable development of all villages, through creating a well-defined and permanent centre of commerce between all the villages.

The Phase-IV program of PMGSY is a collection of a large amount of projects created by PMGSY to end the isolation caused by the obstacles created by topography, and the barrier created by topography, (1 km at a time).

PMGSY is not only an agency of road construction but is representative of a citizenship. The message to families at the end of the road will be that their treatment will be equal to the treatment of families who live in urban centres.

The message goes on to say that every person living in India has access to markets, education and healthcare; this is true whether someone lives close to large cities or not; however, all people should have that right.

As the 316 projects move from scope papers, to ground-breaking ceremonies, to asphalt meeting dirt in extremely remote areas, we see opportunity changes.

Roads that are built today will create opportunities for hope and opportunity, they create dignity for people in very remote areas of India who have no access to transportation or supports and to create hope and opportunity for tomorrow.
