After completing matriculation examination, students community immediately moves to join different coaching centres for studying different contemporary streams available here. Some of them choose their subjects by their own interest and aptitude. Some choose only to impress others, some for their friends, some of them thrust by parents, elders and teachers. We must have to be very proactive and play a positive role in making their personality without imposing any kind of opinion on them.
Passion, Inspiration and Motivation (PIM) with consistency and determination is required to be adopted before going ahead. Passion comes with purpose which in turn makes power of action. A solid purpose inspires to gives solid motivation. In fact, inspiration comes from your innerside.
Career after Matriculation Examination
Matriculation is basic examination by the board for students community. It is the foundation and first milestone for going to any higher educational field of ones choice. As per the media reports, the overall passing percentage of matriculation examination has been recorded at 85.03 percent. However very low percentage (15%) remained unqualified. They should not lose their hope but will boost their spirit and will appear in their second attempt. Same was with the 10+2 to whom results have been declared recently.
Now a question arises that when there is limited seats for pursuing MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, BPT, BVSC, B.E, B.Tech. & other allied streams. What will happen to left out 98% students? In an endless wave of competition only those students competes sucessfully forvery low percentage of seats who have qualified matriculation and 12th standard examination with very high percentage in science subjects and having confidence to become a doctor or engineer rest of those have to go for professional, technical, academic and other job oriented courses.
There are so many technical, professional or job oriented courses offered by the various institutes of the state or country. At the very young age, if one should go immediately after qualifying their matriculation examination for professional, technical and vocational careers, they should achieve their goal.
There are so many non professional job opportunities available in the country like Airmen, Sailors, Coastal Guards, Constables, Class IV Jobs in Indian Railways, Indian Postal Services, Multitasking Staff, Forest Guard, Fisheries Guard, Mulberry Guard and other jobs in different departments at union and state level through SSC, J&K SSB or any other recruitment boards.
There is also a special quota of jobs available for sports persons who have represented State, National or International level and excelled in different sports activities.

Interest makes a successful way
If somone choose their subject of interest by his choice, he should not avail the opportunity by chance. And there will be reverse when there is chance over choice. There are so many cases around us in front of every student where one has to become successful only after choosing his field of interest and aptitude by choice.
In many cases, a student has failed in medical stream but shines in simple arts stream only after identifying his interest stream by changing the actual track.
Many students bring laurels and excelled in different academic areas with special attributes like achieving of Gold Medals, qualifying of state or national level exam (SLET/SET, NET, JRF) & Post doctorates only after choosing their field by choice.
A huge group of unemployed youth are there as jobless, only choosing their courses by chance not by their personal choice. Many engineers are working as bankers, post graduate with bachelor of education degree holders working other than teachers, stenographers as cashiers etc.
In fact unemployment sector is one of the reasons behind this all. But we must not ignore the main fault which is lying ahead of this unemployment. Those having interest in a particular subject have been performing well in the same.
Unfortunately most of our educated youth were unaware and feeling a fair before appearing in the national competitive examinations. There is a great opportunities for the candidates having determination to qualify Civil Service Examination (CSE) for selections into IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS & other allied services, Common Defence Services (CDS), Indian Forest Services (IFS) Assistant Commandant CAPF, NDA & NA etc. the prestigious examinations conducted every year across the country by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
For J&K union territory domiciles, there are many competetive exams for coveted posts conducted by the J&K Public Service Commission. There is also Staff Selection Commission (SSC) graduate level job opportunities and many such better options in the Indian Railways.
Consistency and Determination is the way ahead
All the human beings are mixtures of good and bad. No body is perfect. Self-motivation should begin with self-acceptance. Only toppers can’t get good chances. As many gold medalists failed to do a purposeful and contemporary research work in academia. While as many average students excelled in this field and have successfully rewritten the history.
What you are doing in life is governed by the choices you make without wrapping a cloth on your eyes. Parents, teachers, institutions and other experts must have to play their positive role and show them the right direction. Students must have to choose the best courses like clothes that suits you. Your purposefulness life will shine forth and you will have a passionate life, a life of honour, name and fame.
