JAMMU, JANUARY 15: A delegation of Pir Panjal Tribal United Front led by former MLC and senior BJP leader Adv. Murtaza Khan, Thursday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
A public delegation from Kathua led by Raghunandan Singh, Vice Chairman District Development Council Kathua called on Manoj Sinha.
A delegation headed by Bhushan Bral, Member, District Development Council from Bhalwal Brahmana called on Lieutenant Governor. Subsequently, representatives of Tejas Ek Pahal Foundation also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
Dr Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director IGNOU Jammu called on Lieutenant Governor.
A delegation of District Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu led by its President S. Ranjeet Singh Tohra called on Lieutenant Governor.
The delegation comprised of S. Ranvir Singh, S. Jagpal Singh, S. Gurmeet Singh, S. Karan Singh Bali and S. Avtar Singh put forth various issues pertaining to welfare and empowerment of Sikh Community in Jammu Kashmir including preservation and development of important Sikh religious and historical sites, Amendment of Sikh Religious and Endowment Act, 1973 and promotion of Punjabi language.
