Raghav Langer gets extension

Srinagar: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved a one-year extension to the central deputation tenure of IAS officer Raghav Langer, who is presently serving as Secretary of the National Medical Commission under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

According to an official communication issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Langer’s deputation will now continue beyond October 3, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The order states that the ACC has cleared the proposal for extending the tenure of the 2009-batch IAS officer at the Joint Secretary level.

Officials said the extension ensures continuity in ongoing initiatives and administrative responsibilities within the National Medical Commission. (CNS)
