Srinagar, August 22: In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police in Awantipora on Friday have seized two vehicles involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals in Khrew area.
A Police party of Police Station Khrew headed by SHO PS Khrew seized two vehicles (tippers) bearing registration numbers JK13B-4411 and JK01AT-7704, a police spokesman said.
Accordingly, police said that a case under FIR number 62/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Khrew and investigation has been initiated.
