KUPWARA, AUGUST 02: To mark the release of 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, a district-level event was organized at the meeting hall of the DC office, Kupwara.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad presided over the function, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from District Agriculture Officers, field staff, and a large gathering of farmers.
To ensure maximum participation of the farmers in the program through virtual mode, district administration Kupwara had facilitated live streaming of the program at the meeting hall of D C office Kupwara.
The attendees were charged with enthusiasm as they watched the Prime Minister’s address. In addition, live streaming sessions were held at the Sub-Divisional and Zonal levels across the district.
These sessions involved active participation from Common Service Centres (CSCs), Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), Agricultural Mandis, PM-Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs), Krishi Kalyan Groups (KKGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, and a large number of farmer groups.
These events witnessed an overwhelming response from the community, with a large number of PM-KISAN beneficiaries keenly observing the proceedings. As a direct outcome of today’s initiative, 75247 PM-KISAN beneficiaries in district Kupwara received PM-KISAN benefit in the 20th installment.
