BANDIPORA, JUNE 29: In continuation of its weekly cleanliness campaign under the banner of Swachhata Tyohaar, Municipal Council (MC) Bandipora on Saturday organized a vibrant awareness rally to promote the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and proper waste segregation.
The rally commenced from the Municipal Council office and culminated at Nishat Park, with enthusiastic participation from municipal staff, volunteers, students, and members of the general public.
Holding placards and raising slogans, the participants spread the message of adopting clean habits and keeping the surroundings litter-free.
On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Municipal Council Bandipora emphasized the significance of community involvement in making the district cleaner and greener.
He informed that such awareness activities are conducted every Saturday to instill a sense of responsibility among citizens towards sanitation and environmental well-being.
