‘Indian origin students being relocated’

Tehran, Jun 15: The Embassy of the Republic of India in Tehran on Sunday said to have been relocating and escorting Indian origin students from Urmia to Armenia for ensuring their safety.
The development comes after the recent combat like developments in Iran.
“The Embassy of the Republic of India in Tehran presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and has the honour to inform the esteemed Ministry that with the recent combat like developments in Iran, the Embassy is relocating/escorting Indian/Indian origin students from Urmia to Armenia – for ensuring their safety,” an official communiqué reads.
“In this regard, the Embassy has the honour to refer to the esteemed Ministry for permitting the Embassy to escort those students /Indian origin students to the Norduz border of Armenia via buses. The details of the fleet will be provided subsequently,” iit added.
The Embassy of India in Tehran avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the assurances of its highest consideration, it added.
