The divisional administration has set up a dedicated Control Room at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Srinagar to help families of students studying in Iran.
Parents and guardians can share details of their wards through the following contacts: Landline numbers: 0194-2483651, 0194-2457543, 0194-2457552; WhatsApp number: +91-9103998355. Families are urged to stay connected and use these helplines.
In District Anantnag, the police have established a dedicated helpline for students, workers, and others stranded in Iran.
Those needing assistance or their family members may contact PCR Anantnag at 9596777669 or 9419051940.
Similarly, District Police Srinagar has set up a helpline to support stranded students, workers, or residents from Srinagar.
Helpline numbers are PCR Srinagar: +91 95967 70550 and +91 94194 11619.
“The police will provide all possible assistance and share the collected information with concerned authorities for timely action.”
