Boosting educational development

Starting this initiative, aiming at inclusiveness and educational equity, the government is  providing free uniforms and text books to more than thirteen lakh students in government schools as mandated under the RTE act (Right to Education Act).

This advances the government’s understanding of the generation of human capital which guarantees that the education of at least one child is not compromised because of impoverished conditions.

Education is one of the key components of a successful society, thus, it can be suggested that the government’s commitment to alleviating textbook poverty is an attempt to reduce the gap in educational attainment experienced by poor children.

Providing students with the necessary text books and uniforms is more than providing them with social welfare; it is laying claim to a much higher aspiration for the advancement of the region of Jammu and Kashmir.

Students provided with necessary instructional materials become more confident, attend school more often, and achieve better academic serve as reassurance of the efficacy of the right to education contained within the thresholds of children aged 6-14 freely receiving compulsory education just as it is the elevation of socio-policy.

This policy advances social equality because children of all socio-economic levels honour the dignity of wearing uniforms while attending school which diminish gaps between leisure, luxury, and necessity.

The policy has impacts that go well beyond the classroom.

The students in primary school already represent some economy activity, and empowering them early on translates to nurturing an adequately developed population in the future.

It needs to be appreciate the teachers and administrators who have been working in the shadows and whose policies crafted the educational model which is, in our region, a model for sustainable investment.

The government is, indeed, upholding its legal obligation to provide free uniforms and textbooks to lakhs of students, while, at the same time, working towards building a brighter and more equal society.
