Dr. Farooq, others condole demise of Aga Syed Baqir

Srinagar: National Conference (NC) President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Friday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the esteemed Shia scholar, cleric, and religious leader, Allama Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Al-Moosvi.
In his heartfelt message of condolence, he highlighted his significant contributions to religious thought and emphasized his dedication to promoting social harmony.
He acknowledged that his legacy will be cherished for generations to come. He offered prayers for peace for his departed soul and strength for his grieving family and followers.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended the Namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased at the Astan-e-Aaliya Budgam. He was joined by Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani and Cabinet Minister Javed Dar. Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq also attended the Namaz E Janaza.
Additionally, General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Party Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Party MP Mian Altaf Ahmad, Hon’ble MLA’s Ali Mohammad Dar, Dr Mohammad Shafi, Saifuddin Bhat and other party functionaries from north, south, and central zones also expressed their condolences to the Aga household, particularly Aga Syed Mahmood and Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, on the passing of Aga Syed Muhammad Bakir Moosvi Sahib.
