2 bodies recovered from river

Poonch: Rescuers have recovered the bodies of two accident victims from a river in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, while the search for a missing two-year-old boy entered its third day on Saturday, officials said.
The tragedy unfolded on Thursday evening when a cab carrying 10 passengers skidded off the road and plunged into the river near Kalai bridge in Poonch town. While seven people were rescued, three others went missing, prompting an extensive search operation.
Officials confirmed that the body of Shaheena Akhter, a resident of Manjakote, was retrieved near Dingla on Saturday, while the remains of Abdul Aziz were recovered late Friday evening from the same area.
Rescue teams continue their efforts to locate the missing child, who was among those unaccounted for after the accident. Search operations were still underway at the time of the last update. (KINS)
